SDSX Launches the Second-Generation Silicon-Based Amplitude and Phase Multi-Function Chip
Publication time : 2024-12-06

In December 2024, SDSX successfully released the second-generation four-channel ultra-wideband beamforming TR transceiver chip SX1006-G-J, which has reached a first-class industry level in performance.
The SX1006-G-J is a four-channel (4 receive and 4 transmit) beamforming TR transceiver chip based on domestic SOI process. It covers a working frequency range of 5–18 GHz. Each channel consists of a digital-controlled phase shifter, driver amplifier, digital-controlled attenuator, switch, power combiner (divider), and other modules, supporting 6-bit phase shifting and 6-bit attenuation. The chip provides load state and transmit/receive modulation outputs. It integrates an SPI interface, digital beam control circuit, temperature sensor, over-temperature protection circuit, gain temperature compensation function, and power detection function. The transmit/receive switching time is less than 80 ns. The chip measures 4.4 mm × 6.8 mm and is powered by a single 2.5V supply. It is easy to apply, featuring radiation resistance, high integration, high precision, low power consumption, low cost, and ultra-wide bandwidth. It is suitable for applications in radar communication and other fields.
