SDSX has introduced a C-band dual-channel receiver SiP (System in Package) module, model SX7002, which is part of the company’s T/R module series and is suitable for radar and electronic warfare applications. The module integrates a limiter low-noise amplifier, beamforming chip, SPI control chip, and other components, and features six-bit phase shifting, five-bit attenuation, and serial-to-parallel conversion functions.
The SX7002 module operates in the frequency range of 3.4–4.2 GHz, with a receive gain of 27 dB and a noise figure of 1 dB. It has a phase shifting accuracy of 2°. The amplifier supports dual power supplies of +3.3V and +5V, as well as a +5V/-5V driver supply. The module measures 10 mm × 10 mm and weighs less than 2 grams.
Adopting a surface-mount, lead-free package, the SX7002 is easy to install and can achieve a high level of hermetic sealing, meeting the requirements for high reliability. Compared with traditional T/R component processes, the SiP module offers higher performance consistency, eliminating the need for tuning, and is more suitable for mass production, assembly, and use. This will save users a significant amount of time and labor costs. The SX7002 product has already entered mass production and delivery.
